How to Start

Start small. Scale when it works.

You should not have to bet a full production line on a supplier you haven't worked with. There is a deliberate order to how these engagements grow — and it starts well below a capital approval.

Step 0

Engineering Study

$15,000 – $50,000 3–6 weeks

A paid engineering assessment of the process you want to automate — sized so an engineering manager can approve it without a capital request.

  • Process assessment on site or from your data — cycle times, variants, quality gates, operator steps
  • Automation concept: what to automate, what to leave manual, and why
  • Line layout and takt design sized to your volume
  • Equipment list and budgetary investment estimate
  • Risk register — the things that typically break this kind of project

The study is yours. Take it to your board, your corporate engineering group, or another supplier — the analysis stands on its own.

Step 1

Tooling Package or Retrofit

$600,000 – $1,500,000 12–24 weeks

A contained piece of production hardware — the full experience of working with us, on a scope that fits one capital approval cycle.

  • A single robotic cell, assembly station or end-of-line test station
  • Tooling and fixture packages for an existing line
  • Retrofit and modernization of a machine you already own
  • Full process: design reviews, factory acceptance testing, installation, operator training

Two of the systems on our Projects page are exactly this size — a single-operator coupling assembly and test cell, and a 12-station rotary test machine retrofit.

Step 2

Line Section

Scoped per project 6–10 months

A multi-station segment of a production line — sub-assembly, test, or a complete process block feeding your existing line.

  • Multiple linked stations with transfer and buffering
  • Integrated in-process testing and traceability
  • Interfaces to your existing line control and MES

Step 3

Full Production Line

Scoped per project 12–18 months

A complete turnkey assembly and test line — the scale of the EV compressor line on our homepage.

  • 30+ automated stations from first operation to line-off
  • Full traceability written back against every serial number
  • Line layout, takt balancing and ramp-up support
  • Smart factory software integration (MES / WMS / MDC / DNC)

Why This Order

Why we don't lead with the full line

A first project with a new supplier carries risk that has nothing to do with the machine: how they handle a change request, whether the schedule holds, what happens when something fails at 2 a.m. in your plant. A $15,000 study and a contained first build let you find that out cheaply.

It works in our favour too. By the time we quote a full line we have your real cycle data, your quality gates and your plant constraints — instead of designing against assumptions.

What the study gets you, even if you stop there

  • A defensible investment number for your capital request
  • A concept your corporate engineering group can review
  • The risks named before anyone spends money on hardware
  • A specification precise enough to quote against — with us or anyone else

Not sure which step you're on?

Describe the process you're looking at — product, volumes, what's manual today. We'll tell you whether it warrants a study, a contained build, or a full line.
